Dubai to collaborate with Israeli manufacturers’ association on cross-border investments

The Dubai Investment Development Agency will collaborate with the Manufacturers’ Association of Israel on cross-border business and investment opportunities.

This is the most recent agreement between a UAE agency and Israel following the two countries’ historic Abraham Accords signed in August last year that normalised their relationship.

That Accord is expected to facilitate annual trade between UAE and Israel of more than 14 billion dirhams ($3.8 bln) within three to five years, the Dubai agency said in a statement on Tuesday (March 22).

Dubai itself has already concluded trade deals with Israel valued at more than 1 billion dirhams between September and January this year, added the agency.

The agreement signed on Tuesday will encourage the networks of the two agencies to develop and promote trade and investment linkages, facilitate cross-border meetings and business trips, and share relevant information about trade, investment, and best practices.
