Executive moves: Kuwait Finance House, HSBC Oman get new CEOs
Kuwait Finance House has appointed a new Group CEO to replace Mazin Saad Al-Nahedh.
In a statement on Monday (May 4), the Islamic bank said Ahmad Saud Al-Kharji will assume the role of Group CEO effective May 5.
KFH did not say why Al-Nahedh’s contract was rescinded without notice. He was GCEO since 2014.
In Oman, HSBC on Wednesday (May 6) named Melika Betley as its new CEO. She was previously with HSBC Bank Middle East Bahrain where she was CEO and Country Manager for Bahrain.
HSBC Oman said Andrew Long will continue as CEO until Betley receives the nod from regulators. Long has been appointed Senior Advisor to the Board until the end of this year.
